Rose State College students are encourage to participation in the Eastern
Oklahoma County Regional History Collection in a variety of ways, most notably:
Service-Learning
The Service-Learning Program was established at Rose State
College in the spring of 2001. Service-Learning promotes the idea of
experiential learning to enhance the education of our students and helps to
promote opportunities for students to participate in learning and ongoing

Honors Program
Established in 1995, the Rose State College Honors Program
promotes excellence in teaching and learning. For more information on

Oral History Interviews
Students may also conduct oral history interviews individually
or with the assistance of their instructors. Students will learn oral
history methodologies and the important role that recorded memories play in
