Rose State College Begins Preparation for Global Oklahoma

 

Midwest City-Rose State College has started preparing for the 19th annual Global Oklahoma Festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm., on the Rose State College Campus.  This year’s theme will be “A Festival of Cultures featuring the Oklahoma Centennial.” There will be live entertainment, multicultural entertainers, artists, school displays, educational exhibits, youth art contests, a children’s tent, a food court and numerous arts and crafts celebrating 100 years of Oklahoma statehood. Free admission. Free parking.

The Dare to Dream Team is a voluntary team of science and math content specialists who develop classroom activities and demonstrations for area schools and civic groups. Click here

High School Social Studies Bowl
The Rose State College Social Sciences Division will host the 27th annual High School Social Studies Bowl, Saturday, Oct. 13 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m Click Here

Students should get out their art supplies and get ready to draw and paint as part of this year's Global Oklahoma Festival of Cultures Art Contest. Rose State College is sponsoring two youth art contests focusing on Oklahoma's centennial. More
