Applicant Selection Process
The academic record is the most heavily weighted criteria utilized for program selection. The following are considered as the part of the academic record: grades of the general education and sciences courses required for program application; ACT scores; COMPASS scores; and completed college work. Written skills, interest, and commitment are considered important for applicant selection. A personal interview with the Program Director and a faculty member, as part of the application process is required. Dental office observation or employment experience is also required. Applicants are usually notified by letter of acceptance status by the end of the first week of May.
