Atkinson Heritage Center

The Atkinson Heritage Center, a beautiful urban acreage at N.E. 10th and Midwest Blvd., Midwest City, was the family home of W.P. “Bill” Atkinson (1906-1999), Midwest City’s founder and developer, gubernatorial candidate, newspaper publisher, and community acitivist. The Center is now preserved as a historic home and community event center.

Rental and Usage

Free Admission: Call (405) 732-5832 or send an e-mail to atkinson@rose.edu. It is also available for rental for special events by calling the same number.

Hours: By appointment.

Access: The first floor and Pony Barn are handicapped accessible. Please phone ahead for special assistance.

Please note, for rental payment, make checks payable to Rose State College and include 26-113 on the memo line.
