EmPower Program
EmPower at Rose State College serves recipients of DHS services by providing job-skill related assistance.
EmPower
provides training for the following skills:

- Introduction to Medical Office

- Internships (Job Readiness)*
- Job Preparation
- Resume Writing / Effective Cover Letters
- Winning at Interviewing, including video and mock interviews
- JOB SEARCH - our staff works one-on-one with students to assist in current job search and train for future jobs. All students are mentored and tracked for six (6) months after employment.
* Clerical Internships are an integral part of the EmPower Program. Internships begin the second month of training and are two full days per week. Placements are made according to the interests and abilities of each particular student.

The EmPower Program is located at the top floor of the Chase Building
at the corner of 15th and Air Depot in Midwest City. The
EmPower Program is funded through DHS and the Oklahoma State
Regents for Higher Education.
