Rose State College Foundation

Rose State College Foundation Purpose
:

The Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, benevolent, educational, and scientific purposes in support of Rose State College.  The two main areas of focus for Foundation support are student scholarships and enhancements for academic programs.

Rose State College Foundation Mission:

The Rose State College Foundation, Inc., is organized to raise funds, invest resources, and direct expenditures to reflect its dedication to Rose State College’s ability to fulfill its mission.

Rose State College Foundation Vision:

The Rose State College Foundation seeks to provide scholarships for all who qualify and to fund educational enhancements that improve the community’s quality of life.

Rose State College Foundation Core Values:  We value:

Philanthropy—The Foundation provides a beacon for those who promote the improvement of human welfare with heartfelt giving.

Integrity—The Foundation Trustees firmly adhere to the ethical solicitation of gifts and the just stewardship of entrusted funds.

Commitment—The Trustees inspire others through their unwavering support of the mission of the Foundation.

Accomplishments of the Foundation:

Since its creation in 1977, the success of the Foundation is attributable to the many faculty, staff, and community leaders who have stepped forward and made commitments to the future of the College.  Major milestones include:  over 200 scholarships awarded annually to students; the Croak Endowment for Business and Information Technology; the Hudiburg Endowment for Student Services; the Hardin/Miller Endowment for Small Business; the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Endowment; the Don S. Reynolds Lectureship; the James F. Howell “Country Lawyer” Lectureship; student and faculty awards for the Honors Program and Service-Learning; and support of student leadership programs.  Future needs that can be met through contributions include specialized equipment for technical programs, additional student scholarships, and specialized endowments to continue excellence in the classroom.
