Campus Logins
This page is intended to help students with logins for multiple campus computer systems. If you have difficulties with one of your logins, the correct contact information is provided below so you may contact the appropriate office. Keep in mind that these systems are separate and do not share password management unless otherwise noted. In other words, if you change your password in one system, it is not automatically changed in another. This said, you may change your password in each system manually so that they are all the same. That is your choice. Note that these logins are created either manually or through a computer job that runs once per day so you may have to wait up to one college business day to login.
PeopleSoft Student Information System (OASIS) Login
To access student records through the PeopleSoft system, point your browser to https://oasis.rose.edu.
Your User ID is created by combining the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your last name, and your seven-digit student ID number. (Occasionally, the last name initial does not coincide with your current last name even if correctly updated in OASIS. If the proper initial does not work, try the last name initial of the name under which you were first admitted as a student at the college.)
Your initial password is your birth date entered in MMDDYYYY format. For example, if John Smith was born on July 1, 1950 with a student ID of 0003418, his User ID would be JS0003418 and his password would be 07011950. You may (and should) change your PeopleSoft password. A password changed through PeopleSoft will not change your other logins on campus. Note that your OASIS login will always be active...even if you are not enrolled.
For questions and help with your PeopleSoft login, contact Academic Advisement at 733-7408.
Student E-mail Login
All Rose State College students have access to a free, college E-mail account. The student E-mail login URL is http://stuwebmail.rose.edu and you will find a link to this login page in the lower, left corner of most college web pages.
Your student E-mail address will be in the format firstname-lastname@stu.rose.edu. (Note: Your E-mail account username has a maximum length of 24 characters.) If you share a first and last name with another student, to avoid duplicate E-mail addresses, a sequenced number will follow the name in the e-mail address. To verify your E-mail address, you may to log onto the OASIS system, navigate within OASIS following the path SA Self Service » Personal Portfolio » Home » Personal Portfolio. Under Contact Information, click the Email Addresses link to view your assigned E-mail address.
Your initial password is your birth date in MMDDYYYY format. You may (and should) change your default E-mail password. Changing this password will not automatically change your other Rose passwords. Note that your E-mail account will be active continuously until you have not enrolled in credit classes for one year.
For more information, see the Student E-mail Account Information page. If you have questions or problems with student E-mail, contact Student Activities at 733-7376 or ITS at 733-7356.
Campus Computer Login
Each semester, the college creates accounts for all enrolled students to allow access to campus computers. These accounts are active only for the duration of the semester in which enrolled. Between semesters, they are removed so you may not be able to login to a campus computer between semesters.
The campus computer account logins are the same as the initial PeopleSoft logins. You may change your campus computer account password if you wish. To do so, use the CTRL+ALT+DEL keyboard combination after you are logged in. Click the Change Password... button in the Windows Security window. If you change your campus computer account password, it will affect your PeopleSoft login until your campus computer account is removed. Note that you may still login to PeopleSoft with your password stored within the PeopleSoft system. You may change your PeopleSoft password to match your campus computer account password if you wish.
For help with your campus computer login, speak to a computer lab technician or contact Information Technology Services (ITS) at 733-7356.
