The only basic software requirement for Internet courses is a web browser. Please check with your instructor to see if there are additional software requirements for individual courses. Below you will find links to freely available software which may prove helpful.

Adobe Flash Player	View Flash content
Adobe Reader	View and print Adobe PDF files.
AVG Free	Anti-virus
Download.com	Website that hosts reviews and software downloads. Some of the available software is free and some is not.
Firefox	Web browser
Internet Explorer	Web browser
iTunes	Download course audio and video content from iTunes U.
IZArc	Compression Utility
Jing	Screen Capture and Recording Utility
Microsoft Excel Viewer	View and print MS Excel files. Do not install if you have the full version of MS Excel.
Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer	View and print MS PowerPoint files. Do not install if you have the full version of MS PowerPoint.
Microsoft Word Viewer	View and print MS Word files. Do not install if you have the full version of MS Word.
MWSnap	Screen Capture Utility
OpenOffice	Full suite of office applications that can open, edit, and save in MS Office file format. Every bit as powerful as the suite from Microsoft.
PrimoPDF	Create Adobe PDF files through a virtual printer.
Quicktime	Media player
Respondus Lockdown Browser	This web browser is required by some instructors to take online tests.
Safari	Web browser
Windows Media Player	Media player
ZoneAlarm	Firewall
