Paralegal Studies Faculty
The Paralegal Studies Program meets ABA requirements that full-time and adjunct faculty are licensed practicing attorneys in Oklahoma. Full-time faculty consist of:

July L. Shaw is the director of the Rose State College Paralegal Studies Program. Dr. Shaw received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Janet M. Wheeler
Janet M. Wheeler is a full-time faculty member in the Rose State College Paralegal Studies Program teaching Legal Research I, Real Property, Civil Procedure I and II, WordPerfect in the Law Office and Computers in the Law Office.
Dr. Wheeler received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association including the bar's section on Real Property and Law Technology and volunteers as a speaker for the Law Related Education Committee.
Dr. Wheeler is a former instructor for Legal Research courses at the University of Oklahoma Paralegal Studies Program and former instructor on Title Examination at the Oklahoma City University Paralegal Studies Program.
- She regularly offers to the local legal community workshop entitled Using the Internet for Legal Research.

Larry M. Barrett
Larry M. Barrett is a full-time faculty member at Rose State College teaching in the Paralegal Studies Program of the Business Division. He is a solo practitioner in Oklahoma City whose practice has emphasis in the areas of business law and real estate law.
Mr. Barrett received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University.
He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is the designated Prelaw Advisor at Rose State College for the Law School Admissions Council.
Previously, Mr. Barrett was Assistant General Counsel for the Oklahoma Insurance Department and held the position of Associate Dean of the Business Division at Rose State College.
