DEDICATIONS
TO THE SKY
written by Matt Smith
To those fallen soldiers -

We may look to the sky in deep mystery,
Our lives, so small, in this infinite sea.
Sharing the stars in a blackened night,
Weaving through shadows in the afternoon light.
Curiousity is teased by the heaven above,
We struggle to understand this powerful love.
Reaching for that answer you gave your all,
Soldiers in the sky, we salute your fall.
Unmatched is your character, pride, and will,
So wrong is your loss, our pain is so real.
This crew, this ship, this voyage today,
To the sky you were sent, in our hearts you will stay.
