ELECTRONIC JOURNAL 2

I want you to tell me all you can about the building and construction of a pyramid. You can use the links that I provided in my weekly lecture notes on Chapter 3, your book or any other source. I want to know the reasons for building the pyramids, about the workers, and how they were able to construct such a huge tomb. This should be approximately one and a half pages and document your resources at the bottom of your journal.

I want you to post this on the Discussion Board at Blackboard.com for the class to read.

  • Click on the Communications tool.
  • Click on the Discussion Board icon.
  • Click on Start a New Thread.
  • In the "Subject" write Journal 1.
  • Click on Post Message button at the bottom.
I recommend writing your journal using Word, Word Perfect, or Notepad, and then click and drag over the text, highlighting it. Once it is highlighted, go under the menu title "Edit" and click "Copy" (or Ctrl + C). Open up your "Start a New Thread" window and click your cursor in the "Body" area. Last, use your keyboard and hold down the Ctrl key and simultaneously tap on the V key (Ctrl + V). This will paste your copied text into the body section of the discussion topic. See me if you have never done this before, and I will help you. Make sure you sign your journal at the bottom. There will be points deducted if it is late.

It is really a lot of fun, as well as educational, to read each other's journals. Once you click on the item, you can also reply to that person's entry with your own comments.
