ELECTRONIC JOURNAL 4 Pretend you have discovered a diary written by a survivor of the destruction of Pompeii by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 CE. Select "excerpts" from this diary which gives an account of life before the disaster and recount the event itself. What was life in Pompeii like? What would it be like to be a Roman nobleman, woman, or slave living there before the eruption and during the eruption. Try placing yourself back in time to create your experiences.
