Human Resources
The Rose State College Human Resources Office fully
complies with the Mission of the institution. The Human Resources Office is dedicated to the institution’s
Strategic Vision, which is to be recognized as one of the
nation’s premier two-year colleges, distinguished
through a growing multi-cultural and multi-generational
student body and exceptional quality and diversity of programs
and personnel. The Human Resources Office strives to
provide quality services to the campus and the community
that will ensure that current and potential employee’
experiences during the recruitment and hiring process facilitate
their ability to provide quality educational experiences
to the students. The institution is staffed by qualified
and efficient personnel that provide a solid structure for
the future. The on-campus employment of students further
enhances our academic mission as it provides many students
with their first employment opportunity.
A conscientious recruitment effort is exerted in the process
of hiring faculty, administrators, and support staff. We
recruit potential employees from diverse sources including
other education institutions, ethnic and minority media
outlets, and the internet. Our hiring process is designed
to obtaining the most diverse applicant pool possible.
The Human Resources Office is a department within the
President's area. The department is responsible
for developing, implementing, and monitoring employment
procedures for faculty, staff, and student and non-student
part-time positions that are consistent with the College-wide
program of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative
Action.
