Student Jobs

Hourly Jobs: Students interested in part-time employment at Rose State College may apply by downloading an application for our web page or by picking one up at the Human Resources office located in Room 104 of the Larry Nutter Administration Building. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A list of part-time, hourly openings is NOT maintained.  Students need to check their area(s) of interest on campus or specify an area on the application form.

Federal Work Study: Students may apply for the Federal Work Study Program through the Financial Aid office, located in the Student Services Building. Students who are interested in the Federal Work-Study (FWS) program need to visit  the Office of Financial Aid, SSB 200 or visit the Financial Aid Web Page. Students must be awarded FWS by the Office of Financial Aid before they can be referred for a job. Students will need to bring a copy of their Financial Aid Award letter, a picture ID, and their Social Security card to the Financial Aid Office to begin the referral process. Salaries for FWS jobs range from $7.25/hour to $8.05/hour depending on the position. The student will then be referred to the Human Resources office with the appropriate paperwork to complete the process. Two forms of documentation for Eligibility to Work verification will be required in the Human Resources office. A Social Security card will be required in the Payroll office.
