The Native American Tribal Princesses will also be joining us for the Opening Ceremony!

The Zonta Club of Central Oklahoma will also be joining us at Global. The Club will once again advocate for advancing the status of women through service and advocacy as the Rose State College Campus transforms into a global village depicting the honored country for this annual Global Oklahoma Festival,.
The Global Oklahoma yearly event provides an opportunity for the Zonta Club of Central Oklahoma to increase the awareness of programs the club supports locally and internationally, all aimed to enhance the status of women worldwide.
Locally, the Zonta Club of Central Oklahoma provides educational monetary awards for two recipients attending Rose State College for tuition assistance. Additionally, the club supports a number of local organizations, including the Mid-Del Emergency Shelter, the YWCA Passageways shelter, Oklahomans Against Trafficking Humans, Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse, and many others.
Internationally, Zonta International supports the United Nations, who works with many specialized agencies, including: the World Health Organization (WHO); the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO); the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF); International Labour Organization (ILO); United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR); and United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
