International Scavenger Hunt
During the Rose State College Global Oklahoma Festival
Who can enter: K-12 public and private, parochial and home schooled. Students will be divided into three grade categories, K-3, 4-6, and 7-12.
What: A Scavenger Hunt will be held at Rose State College during the Global Oklahoma Festival. Participants will be given clues at check-in to search for items and answers relating to International cultures at exhibits, children’s activities, entertainment stages, special areas, art, music, dance and food throughout the festival at check-in. Many questions and activities will relate or correspond to PASS, School Benchmarks, and the National Standards.
Where: Rose State College campus mall, 6420 S. E. 15th St., Midwest City, OK, 73110.
When: Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, during the Global Oklahoma Festival, www.rose.edu/globaloklahoma. The festival is held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. Competition must be completed by 4 p.m.
Cost: Free to enter.
Prizes: All students who complete the Scavenger Hunt will receive a special ribbon and other prizes in recognition of their accomplishments. Their name will also be entered into a drawing for other awards. Schools with 10 or more students participating will receive a school certificate.
How to Enter: Complete an entry form online, or submit it via email tocknox@rose.edu, or by mail to Chris Knox, Humanities Division, Rose State College, 6420 S. E. 15th St., Midwest City, OK 73110.
