“Macbeth” at Performing Arts Theatre March 7-11

Sorcery, betrayal and intrigue abound in Shakespeare’s most chilling and enduring tragedy, Macbeth, March 7-11, at the H.B. Atkinson Theatre on Rose State College’s campus in Midwest City. This production is rated PG.

Esteemed for his military prowess, Macbeth is the King’s most trusted warrior until he is wooed by the murmurs and prophecies of witches into a bloody struggle for the throne. Drunk with ambition, his quest for glory leads to war, murder and destruction and propels Macbeth and his wife on a dizzying spiral to paranoia and madness.

Performances will be Wed-Sat at 7:30 pm and on Sunday at 2 pm. A special dinner theatre will be held on Thursday, March 8, at 6 pm in the main dining room at the Rose State College Student Center.
