By the end of the nursing program, the graduate will be prepared to:
A. Provide need-based, comprehensive and individualized nursing care for clients in a variety of settings.
B. Manage and organize the care of clients within a dynamic health care system.
C. Practice legally and ethically as an active member of the nursing profession.
Students with little or no health care experience are eligible to apply for admission to the Beginning Track. Educational mobility for licensed practical nurses and medics is offered through the Career Ladder Track. The Program graduate is awarded an Associate in Applied Science degree and is then eligible to apply to the Board of Nursing to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for registered nurses.
