Radiologic Technology Program
The Radiologic Technology Program offered by Rose State College is a two year course of study in an integrated format.

The Radiologic Technology Program meets the needs of the students and diverse community by providing effective education to graduates who will possess professionalism and entry-level employment skills in diagnostic radiography.
Goal #1: Students will demonstrate clinical competence.
Students will analyze diagnostic radiographs.
Students will select appropriate technical factors.
Students will demonstrate quality patient care practices.
Students will model ALARA principles.
Goal # 2: Students will communicate effectively.
Students will demonstrate effective oral communication.
Students will demonstrate effective written communication.
Goal #3: The student will use problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Student will manipulate technical factors for non-routine examinations.
Student will adapt positioning and/or IR placement for non-routine (due to condition) patients.
Goal #4: Students will embrace professionalism.
Students will display professional behavior.
Graduates will remain credentialed for three years post-graduation.
Goal # 5: The program will graduate entry-level technologists.
Students will complete the program within 24 months.
Of those seeking employment, graduates will be employed within 12 months post grad.
Students will pass the ARRT national certification on the 1st attempt within 6 months post grad.
Graduates/Students will be satisfied with their education.
Employers will be satisfied with the graduates' performance.
Program Effectiveness data is gathered and reported annually.
Program Completion - 67% (12 of 18), annual data for 2013.

Credentialing Exam Pass Rate – 100% (68 of 68)
Job Placement Rate within 6 months of graduation – 78% (53 of 69)
With new accreditation agency reporting criteria: Job Placement Rate within 12 months of graduation for 2013 graduating class- 86% (10 of 12)
