Who can apply?
Any student planning to attend or currently attending Rose State College can apply. All scholarships require at least a 2.5 GPA to qualify.
What do I need to do?
The application process is easy and accessible online. Click here to begin an application. Please answer every question thoroughly. The final question is an essay and it is required for every applicant. Once the application is completed, the student will receive an email with further instructions. A current transcript is required for every applicant and must be delivered to the Office of Enrollment Management.
Do I have to fill out an application for every scholarship?
No. Although more than 50 scholarships are available, a student only needs to fill out one application.
How soon will I find out if I received a scholarship?
There is not a specified date for notification of acceptance. As soon as each committee makes their decisions, all students will be notified via mail. Typically this occurs within four to six weeks of the scholarship closing date.
How are scholarships chosen?
A computerized matching process ensures that each applicant is reviewed for scholarships for which they qualify. A student may qualify for numerous scholarships. Various committees made up of faculty and staff review each application and choose recipients. A student can only receive one foundation scholarship per semester, but if more than one is awarded, the student will receive the award with the highest dollar amount.
