humanities division
Are you interested in learning the A,B,C's-everything from
ART to BROADCAST to COMMUNICATIONS and more? The Humanities
Division offers a variety of courses for those students
interested in continuing at a four-year institution, interested
in learning new skills or developing new talents.
We are proud of our state-of-the-art facilities: new Communications
Center, H.B. Atkinson Theatre,
and Humanities Building and
classrooms. Visit us and check out our large, well-equipped
reading labs, writing lab, communications computer lab,
music recording equipment and synthesizers, photography
lab, piano lab, and modern language lab. All are state-of-the-art
labs with up-to-date computers and equipment.
We are equally proud of our programs and, in many areas,
our new delivery formats. We offer a variety of time frames
(four week, weekend, eight week, one-day-a-week, and traditional
sixteen week courses). If you are interested in a Library
Technical Assistant degree, the LTA courses themselves are
offered through the Internet. Many of our courses are available
through talk-back TV, cable (telecourses), and the Internet.
Are you interested in getting some hands-on experience
and getting college credit for it, too? Enroll in an internship
and get that world-of-work experience in Journalism, Broadcasting,
or Theatre. These real-world opportunities may be the valuable
experiences you need to further your success.
