QUALIFICATIONS
Linda’s experience spans more than 40 years working with special education students in both public and private schools. As a district coordinator of special education for Jenks Public schools, Linda servedas a leader for special education teachers in developed appropriate IEPS, maintaining compliance with IDEA Regulations, and shared
current materials and methods for special learners and helped regular education teachers understandstudents with disabilities. Linda Modenbach is a respected speaker, and has made numerous presentations at local,
state and national levels.
Objectives for program are to provide teachers with:
• A clear understanding of what Learning Disabilities are and are not
(including diagnostic process, RtI, and categorical eligibility)
• A clear understanding of Attention Deficit Disorder
• An understanding of how Learning Disabilities and/or Attention
Deficit Disorder affects the child in the classroom, home, and
with peers
• An understanding of common accommodations including ones for
individuals and groups
• Practical tools, strategies, and techniques to work with children with
these disabilities and any child who is struggling to learn
• The power to feel more confident in working with children who have a
learning disability or learning challenges
• Resources for teachers
