Tinker Air Force Base
Memorandum of Understanding
The United States Air Force is committed to providing high-quality educational programs on all bases. Civilian colleges and universities conduct on-base programs, in widely diversified fields essential to the USAG’s postsecondary education needs. These programs play a major role in support of recruiting and retraining an all-volunteer Air Force. The USAF Mission Support Education function employs its programs to provide USAF personnel with the opportunity to attain educational objectives and enhance their job skills training. These objectives coincide with the purposes of Rose State College, which is to provide comprehensive education programs to prepare graduates for productive careers and responsible citizenship. Advanced education provides personnel with the potential to accomplish the complex tasks associated with the management and utilization of modern, sophisticated USAF weapons systems.
Under this agreement, Rose State College provides associate degree level coursework on Tinker AFB in conjunction with the TAFB Education Office. A Rose State College advisor is available in the Education Building for consultation, admission, and enrollment. All classes are offered on an eight-week basis.
