Air Logistics Commander Maj. Gen. Bruce A. Litchfield is tapped as the graduation speaker for Rose State College’s commencement, set for 7 p.m. May 11 at First Southern Baptist Church at 6400 S. Sooner Road.
From General Litchfield's bio:
"Litchfield is Commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base. He is responsible for the 76th Maintenance Wing, 72nd Air Base Wing and Aerospace Sustainment Directorate. He ensures the Center provides depot maintenance, weapon system acquisition and sustainment, as well as installation, services and information support."
"General Litchfield entered the Air Force in 1981 as a distinguished graduate from the ROTC program at Norwich University, Vermont. His career spans diverse logistics and acquisition assignments supporting weapon systems at wing, major command, Air Staff and the Joint Staff levels. He has commanded a supply squadron, logistics group and combat support systems wing and was the Director of Logistics, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Hickam AFB, Hawaii. Prior to his current assignment he was the Special Assistant to the Commander, Air Force Materiel Command, located at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla."
The commencement of Rose State College graduates is free and open to the public.
