Veteran Student Services

The Veteran Student Services Office is your liaison to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for certification of your veteran and veteran related education benefits. We encourage all students who are eligible for G.I. Bill® benefits to visit our office prior to enrolling so that we may provide important information and assistance in the proper filing of required forms. eBenefits gives users instant access to benefits information and the ability to download copies of their official VA and military correspondence. Click on the eBenefits logo to check the out the 45 self-service features and register for your account. 

Tinker Federal Civic Leaders Scholarship

Military spouse (E1-E6) and adult civilians (ages 24 and older) may apply.

The Tinker Federal Civic Leaders program:

  • Provides the RSC leadership development course, leadership conferences, and culturally enriching experiences.
  • Consists of character training, communications skills, teamwork, and much more.
  • Requires members to complete a leadership project in conjunction with Tinker Air Force Base.

Those chosen to be a part of the TFCL program:

  • Have earned and maintained a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (high school and college).

Twenty students per year are awarded the Tinker Federal Civic Leaders scholarship which is funded by Tinker Federal Credit Union and includes a set amount of funds for tuition and books/fees. NOTE: Military spouses are exempt from deadline and OK state residence requirements if the military member is stationed in Oklahoma.

For All Students Using Veterans Benefits

You must notify the RSC Veteran Student Services Office of the following:

  • Adds
  • Drops
  • Withdrawals
  • Canceled courses
  • Degree changes
  • Major changes
  • Non-attendance
  • Repeated courses

Failure to notify the RSC Veteran Student Services Office of changes could result in delays in your payments from the VA or an overpayment which will require you to reimburse the VA for paid courses.
