I have always liked Rose State College because it was just the right size. Our children and nephew attended Rose State, and all are successful in their fields. So, it only seemed natural that when I was ready to return to school, it would be as a Rose State Raider.

As president of Phi Theta Kappa, my skill set in leadership, research capacities, and professional development has grown exponentially.

I started at Rose State the summer after my sophomore year in high school and completed 46 hours of concurrent enrollment coursework before graduation. Concurrent helped my higher education journey by allowing me to complete dual credit and graduate with an Associate of Science in Chemistry by the end of my freshman year.

President`s Leadership Scholarship applications are now open for 2026 High School and Homeschool graduates! The PLC Scholarship covers up to 16 credit hours of tuition each semester, for 4 semesters plus $850 towards fees each semester. This program gives you opportunities to learn new leadership skills, network with like-minded people, and get plugged into campus ๐
