The Business Periodical Index specializes in indexing periodical articles in the field of business.

Online Databases

Before entering the RSC Online Databases from off-campus, you will need to activate your campus username and password. Stop by the Reference Desk in the Library, and we will assist you in getting on the network. After completing this process on campus, you will be able to utilize any of the databases from wherever you have Internet access. EBSCOhost (Business Source Premier, GreenFILE, Regional Business News, and Small Business Reference Center).

Mergent and Hoover's are other relevant databases. Mergent contains profiles of public companies around the world and SEC and SEDAR filings. Hoover's contains profiles of companies, industries, and people.

Internet: Although an unorganized resource, the Internet does contain valuable information. The library’s BUSINESS and GRANT WRITING links will be most helpful for your research.

Outside Resources

Rose State College's Small Business Development Center (Tom Steed Center) will have lists of resources, start-up guides, and can provide information for small businesses in Eastern Oklahoma County.

Metropolitan Library System has two library branches in this area with business resources the Midwest City (MWC) and Del City (DC) locations. Specialized business, databases (ABInform) are available through local branches. A few of their business resources are listed below.
