an outline and sometimes a bibliography. Older encyclopedias are available for checkout and are located on the second floor under the same call number. The online version of Encyclopedia Britannica is available any where on campus.

Taking Sides: Clashing Views on Controversial... (REF
Each book of the Taking Sides Series discusses a topic from opposing viewpoints. Look through the subject list of the last volume (Index Volume) to choose a topic. Older issues of the Taking Sides Series are available for checkout and are located under the same call number on the second floor.

NewsBank is an online database provider and accesses many of the newspapers listed above, including the Daily Oklahoman and Tulsa World. You can access NewsBank from any computer on campus.
The EBSCOhost databases are available from any computer on campus with Internet access. The online databases provide indexing
and full-text articles from periodicals and newspapers. MasterFILE Premier, Academic Search Elite and Newspaper Source databases within EBSCOhost will be most helpful for your assignment.
Online Card Catalog
The Online Card Catalog is an index to the library's books and audiovisual materials. You may search the catalog from any computer
with Internet access. The online card catalog can be searched in a variety of ways most notably by TITLE, AUTHOR, SUBJECT, and KEYWORD.

The SIRS notebooks contain articles from both periodicals and newspapers. The articles address social issues, such as, family, world hunger, environment, aging, etc. SIRS is available both in print and online. You can access the SIRS online version from any computer on campus.
Although an unorganized resource, the Internet does contain valuable information. Look for the authority, objectivity, accuracy, and currency, when evaluating web sites.
