Commencement 2024 Guests,

Access- The Commencement ceremonies will be held outdoors on the west side of the Student Union.  The address of the Student Union is 1910 Hudiburg Drive, Midwest City, OK 73110.  Hudiburg Drive will be blocked on the north side of the campus at Short Street and south at Prosper.  You can reach the ceremony from the south on Hudiburg Drive, from the east on Adair Blvd and from the west on Prosper Blvd. 

Parking- Guest Parking locations are located on the west side of Hudiburg Drive, north and south of Prosper Blvd.  Accessible parking (State-issued handicap/accessible permit) is located on the east side of Hudiburg Drive on the southside of the Student Union. (see map below)

Limited Mobility and Elderly Drop Off- Guests with mobility issues and/or the elderly can be dropped off at the south end of the Student Union (see map below)

Golf Cart Shuttles- The college will be operating two golf carts (not wheelchair accessible) to shuttle visitors from the west parking lots to the guest seating areas.

Restrooms- Accessible restrooms are located on the first floor of the Student Union and the Student Services Building.

Reception- A reception after the ceremony will be held on the patio east of the Student Union.  Access to the reception can be made through the Student Union atrium, or through the south entry of the Student Union and Student Services Building, or around the north side of the Student Union.

Special Seating- Seating for guests in wheelchairs and for guests utilizing Sign Language Interpreters is available.  Please see an usher for assistance in finding those seats.

Pets/Animals- In accordance with Rose State College policies and procedures, animals to include emotional support animals and pets are not allowed at campus events. Service animals are the only exception.

Inclement Weather-  In case of possible inclement weather, a decision will be made on Thursday, May 9th to move the ceremonies inside the Hudiburg Chevrolet Center on campus.  If that decision is made, ceremony start times will be adjusted to 10:00 am for BIT and Engineering Science, 1:00 pm for Health Science and eLearning & Outreach, and 3:30 pm for Liberal Arts & Science.
