Fall Writer's Conference -- "Writing From the Heartland"
September 23-25, 2016
Organized by New York Times-bestselling author William Bernhardt, this conference will feature more than thirty writers, agents, editors, publicists, and other publishing professionals offering presentations, advice, and private consultations designed to help every participant achieve their writing dreams.
Guest-of-Honor, Katherine Center, the author of many acclaimed novels. The Dallas Morning News called her work “satisfying in the most soul-nourishing way.”
Oklahoma Author, Will Thomas, the author of wildly successful Barker & Llewelyn mystery novels set in Victorian England. Four literary agents from major agencies will take private meetings with participants, as will editors, publicists, writers, and many others.
Session Speakers: Sessions on nonfiction, children’s books, young adult, fantasy, mystery, history, novels, audiobooks, poetry, and songwriting, as well as programs and tutorials covering the business aspects of writing as well as emerging trends and innovations.
The cost of the Conference is $149, or $169 after August 1. Rose State College students may attend at the discounted rate of $75. Friday reception included.
