Memorial ribbon cuttingDel City, Okla. – Twelve AWACS planes in various stages of take-off are perched along Sooner Road in Del City adjacent to Tinker Air Force Base.

The E-3 Sentry Display stands in honor of the peacekeepers at Tinker Air Force Base. Each plane was donated by local families and businesses to complete the twelve plane tribute. In the final installment, Rose State College partnered with Midwest Regional Medical Center to donate one of the last six planes to complete the display. Jeanie Webb, President of Rose State College said, “Rose State values our partnership with military members and with Tinker Air Force Base. On this 60 year anniversary of the 552nd Air Wing, we say thank you for your service and for all you do to keep our nation safe.”
