New Regent Appointed Published July 7, 2015 by Ali Sexton

Midwest City, Okla. – Long time community supporter, Aarone Corwin, ends her appointment after 10 years of service on the Board of Regents at Rose State College.  In her time spent with Rose State, Regent Corwin served with four presidents and was instrumental in the passage of the most recent bond issue and the initial creation of the Rose State Performing Arts Theater which is now the Rose State College Hudiburg Chevrolet Center.  Regent Corwin also worked diligently with leadership students through programming and could often be found supporting students at events.

Filling the vacancy on the Board of Regents is John Lyttle. Regent Lyttle is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in military, commercial, and international aircraft development. His 34-year career with Boeing will bring strong leadership and communication skills to the Board.  “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to serve through this appointment at one of the leading community colleges in the state. With its proximity to downtown OKC, I see limitless growth potential and I’m thrilled to be a part of the legacy Rose State is leaving,” said Regent Lyttle.
