Local College Prepares Students To Be Successful And Reach The Goal Of College Graduation Published August 6, 2015

“College Snapshot” Orientation is Free and Open to Students and Families

Student leaders welcome participants to campus

Midwest City, Okla. – As the start of the academic year quickly approaches, students and their families are making the final preparations to begin classes at Rose State College on August 17.  One event that should be on the list is ‘College Snapshot’.  This one day event is open to Rose State Students and their families to provide a snapshot of what college is about and to give tools, resources, and plans to be successful at Rose State.  There will be breakout sessions for each participant to choose from including: A Guide for Making it to Graduation, Cyber Security and Identity Theft, Interacting with Professors, How to Succeed in a Science Course, and Navigating College and Money. 

With free lunch and a t-shirt for each student, College Snapshot is sure to be a fun-filled experience for students and their families. The day begins at 8:30 on Tuesday, August 11 and registration is required. Sign up at http://bit.ly/1h5Ka3M or call 405.733.7372.
