Triple T at RSC

Midwest City, Okla. -The sound of beating drums and guitars could be heard across campus as the Rose State College Amphitheatre hosted guests for the first time in years.

The event called Triple T (which stands for Tunes and Trucks on a Tuesday), marked the launch of a new era for the outdoor facility.  Rose State staff spent weeks updating lighting and repairs in the facility to get it ready.

Cody Graham, Rose State College Accounting Major said “Food, friends and plenty of fun.  Triple T was a blast!”  Well over 150 students, faculty and the community came out to enjoy the music of Air Line Road and munched on Truckburger, Bricktown Brewery’s delicious brisket sandwiches from their food truck.  Also on hand for the launch was Tasty Snow snow cones and 99.7 Hank FM with Joe Friday and the Hank truck.

"One of the best nights I’ve spent at Rose State! Can’t wait for the next one.”The event featured free admission and food and was open to Rose State students and the community.  “One of the best nights I’ve spent at Rose State! Can’t wait for the next one,” says Morgan Hubbard Rose State College Freshman.  Another Triple-T event is scheduled for October 20th from 7:00-9:30 p.m. and will feature local band The Hideouts and food trucks from Pops and Snow S’more.
