Midwest City, Okla. – Three Carl Albert seniors committed to play for the Rose State Raiders soccer team this week.  Jessica Titsworth, Elizabeth Wyatt and Ashlyn Hanlon each attended the committing ceremony that took place on January 28 along with the support of their families and club coaches.

Jessica Titsworth will be playing Forward for the Raiders. She chose Rose State based on recommendations from family and friends who have attended previously. Jessica plans to receive an associate degree in business before moving on to complete a bachelor’s degree at a four-year institution.

Elizabeth Wyatt is slated to play Center Back in the upcoming season. She said, “I chose Rose State because I know I will get more playing time here as I start my college soccer career.” Wyatt will be majoring in Physical Therapy and hopes to continue to improve her skills and play at a four-year institution after graduating from Rose Stat College.

Ashlyn Hanlon is also a Mid-Del product and upcoming graduate of Carl Albert High School.  In the upcoming season, Ashlyn will play Goalkeeper for the Raiders. When asked her reasoning for selecting Rose State to earn her first degree, she said, “I like that Rose State seems very family oriented and everyone has been so welcoming. I’m ready to get more soccer experience and have fun with the team and on campus.” Ashlyn will be majoring in Nursing Science.

All three seniors will be joining the third season of Raider soccer. The Raiders ended their second season with a record of 10-9 after the Region 2 finals and are looking forward to an even better season with the help of Titsworth, Wyatt and Hanlon.
