Midwest City, Okla. – Rose State College has received a $50,000 gift from the Masonic Charity Foundation. The permanent endowment will support the Rose State student leadership programs. The gift will be used to provide financial support for the ongoing development of students through training and mentorships.

“Developing our students into the leaders of tomorrow is a value we hold close at Rose State,” said Cindy Mikeman, executive director of the Rose State College Foundation. “This generous gift will greatly benefit our students of today and the generations to come.”

Students in the Rose State College Leadership Program participate in development training, a three-hour credit course, numerous campus service projects and community service projects.

Rose State College offers seven leadership programs on campus. The donation was formally dedicated at a gathering of the Rose State Board of Regents earlier this spring.
