Rose State Grants Nearly 1,000 Degrees at Graduation Published May 11, 2018 by Tamara

Three separate commencement ceremonies will take place on the Rose State campus for spring 2018. Approximately 920 Associate Degrees are expected to be granted, with almost 70 certificates being awarded.

 

The services will be held in the Rose State College Hudiburg Chevrolet Center on Friday, May 11th at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Students graduating with a Humanities or Business and Information Technology degree will walk across the stage during the first ceremony. Graduation for Engineering and Science and Health Sciences will begin at 2 p.m. and Social Sciences will end the day.

The top three associate degree granting programs at Rose State are Enterprise Development, Liberal Studies and Nursing Science. Top certificates awarded include Child Development, Personal Trainer and Exercise/Fitness Management.

Each ceremony will be live-streamed on the Rose State College website (www.rose.edu) for those who cannot attend the ceremonies in person.

 

The commencement address will be given by Rose State’s president, Dr. Jeanie Webb. Webb is the institution’s seventh president.

 

The Rose State Faculty Association President and Student Senate President will provide the 2018 Class Challenge and Response portion of the commencement.
