Rose State College is proud to announce an assortment of new on-campus career services options for students in need of career guidance. The new Career Services department at Rose State includes a new job board for employers, resume and portfolio assistance for students, interview coaching, and more. This newly formed department will consist of staff with decades of experience in career services, including new Director of Career Services, Misty Engelbrecht. This department will also oversee the two annual job fairs hosted by Rose State each year.
“The mission of the Rose State College Career Services Center is to support student career development through assistance with Career Exploration, Career Planning, and Job Search Skills and Strategies,” Misty Engelbrecht, director of career services, said. “The Career Services team also works with campus partners and community resources to provide employment and internship opportunities for our students.”
