Summer Nights at Rose State will include Campus Tours, Academic Advising and More!

Rose State College is kicking off summer with a series of evening events for prospective students. During July, students will have the opportunity to join individuals from Student Engagement for “Summer Nights at Rose State,” a series of events for potential students and their families to ask questions, take a campus tour or get advised for enrollment. “Summer Nights at Rose State” is the perfect opportunity for prospective students to get the information they need to begin the enrollment process for the Fall 2019 semester.

“Many of our prospective students have circumstances that prevent them from getting to campus during our regular office hours,” said Meagan Bryant, Director of Student Engagement. “We want to allow these students to take a campus tour, or to ask the basic questions that come along with these visits. Whether there is only one student, or one hundred, we feel it is worth it to give our students additional options.”

The Office of Student Engagement will be open six different nights during July for short campus tours and other information opportunities. Academic advising for students will also be available by appointment.

Summer Nights at Rose State will be held July 1, 9, 17, 25, 29 and 31 from 6 – 8 p.m., with campus tours scheduled each night at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Interested students will check-in at the Office of Student Engagement, Room 107 in the Student Services Building, located at the west end of the campus mall next to the Administration Building.

Students interested in academic advising are required to submit an appointment request, and an academic advisor will reach out to schedule the appointment.
