Rose State Donors make 9 new scholarships possible Published November 18, 2020

The Rose State College Foundation is proud to be able to support Rose State students with 9 new scholarships totaling more than $60,189. “These scholarships would not be possible without the generosity and unwavering support of our donors,” said Cindy Mikeman, Executive Director, Rose State College Foundation. 

Each year, the amount of students applying for scholarships exceeds the resources of the Foundation. “While we are not able to help all 1,300 students applying for scholarships this fall semester, we were able to offer more than $250,000 in scholarship resources to Rose State students in 2020.” She added. 

The Nine new RSC Foundation Scholarships include:

• 2- Randy and Donna Smith Leadership Scholarships
• Dr. Wayne Jones Engineering and Science Scholarship
• Professor Dawcett Middleton Memorial Scholarship
• 2 -Elizabeth Montgomery Music Scholarships
• Russell and Louise Vaught Scholarship
• Dan Points Tomorrow’s Healthcare Professional Scholarship
• Perry McMahon Journalism Scholarship
