Rose State Welcomes Faculty Back to Campus with Convocation Celebration Published January 16, 2020 by Daniel Beck

Rose State College Faculty and Staff were officially welcomed back to campus Thursday, January 16, during a convocation celebration. Rose State faculty and staff were greeted with breakfast in the lobby of the Rose State College Hudiburg Chevrolet Center, before entering the auditorium for a special presentation from President Jeanie Webb. Attendees were greeted with a hype video celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Rose State College, and a journey into the past as Dr. Webb discussed how Rose State College has grown over the past 50 years.

Today, Rose State College is a leader in Cyber Security, Aerospace, Nursing and Dental Hygiene, and boasts over fifty different degree programs. Rose State is also planning to open its second phase of on-campus housing in August 2020, and their brand-new Student Union in September. Webb showed how Rose State College has grown and continues to grow.

Webb’s final challenge to faculty and staff was about legacy, challenging faculty and staff to picture what the next fifty years will look like, and how the impact they make today will be remembered in the future.

Rose State College is proud to celebrate fifty years.
