Health Information Technology Club

The mission of the club is to provide educational meetings relevant to the health information management profession and social events to promote networking. Membership is open to students interested in the field of Health Information Management as a major. Dues are $5 per semester or $10 per year.

Health information technology professionals are experts in maintaining, analyzing, and protecting health information vital to the delivery of quality health care. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, "Employment of health information technicians is projected  to grow 22 percent from 2012 to 2022, much faster than the average for all occupations."
