Rose State College asks the community of RSC to come together for children during the Week of the Young Child™ April 10-20, 2016. As part of the national Week of the Young Child™ celebrated across the country, Rose State College is honoring young children and all those who make a difference in children’s lives.
Young children and their families depend on high-quality education and care, which help children get a great start and bring lasting benefits to Midwest City, OK and the surrounding areas. Week of the Young Child™ is a time to recognize the importance of early learning and early literacy, and to celebrate the teachers and policies that bring early childhood education to young children.
The FSCD Program at Rose State College has over 100 students majoring in Family Services and Child development working to improve professional practice and working conditions in early childhood education, and to build public support for high-quality early childhood education programs.
