Even though you’re an online student, you can still enroll in study abroad trips. I enrolled in the Italy-Croatia trip. I booked the trip through Rose State and was able to meet other students and alumni.

RSC Art Professor Suzanne Thomas gave a guest lecture at the @okcmoa on September 19, 2026. She was joined by Tahnee Francis. Thomas and Francis explored Njideka Akunyili Crosby’s artwork, “I Refuse to Be Invisible,” which is on loan to the OKCMOA from the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

RSC Film Studies and Digital Media graduate John Gibbs earned the Best Student University award at the Great Plains Film Festival for his capstone film, “After Dark.”
“Making After Dark was one of the most rewarding experiences I had at Rose State,” Gibbs said. “It was my capstone film and my first time writing, directing, and producing my own film, so winning Best Student University at the Great Plains Film Festival means a lot to me."
