How to Apply

Overview

Como aplicar
Ready to fill out an application? Simply choose what's most convenient for you — applying online, in person on the Rose State campus or by mail.

Apply Online

View/complete the online application.  Once your application for admission has been accepted, you will receive a series of e-mails outlining your next steps.  After your application is complete, you can learn more about enrolling in classes here.

Students with registration hold(s) will not be able to use online enrollment until the hold is removed. A registration hold may be on a student's record due to a variety of reasons including, but not limited to: a student's academic standing, unsubmitted document(s) or transcript(s), or fee balance or penalty. Students must contact the appropriate office to have the hold addressed.

Apply on Campus

Submit the following at the Administration Building:

  • Transcripts for high school/GED or college credit completed and test scores (ACT/SAT or placement). Enrollment may be limited without transcripts and/or scores.
Students can complete the application using the Kiosks at the Jeanie Webb Student Union at the Joe and Charlene Cole Student Services office.

If necessary, you will take a computerized test (Next Generation ACCUPLACER) in the areas of Reading, English, and/or Math. Next Generation ACCUPLACER is used only to place you in the appropriate level classes.  It is not an admission test and the results will have no effect upon your acceptance as a student at Rose State College. Click here for a ACCUPLACER Study Guide.

An Academic Advisor will then meet with you to discuss your academic goals and review test scores or transcripts to recommend appropriate class selection.
