The Great Debate - COVID-19 Pandemic: Three Years Later Student Activities | Student Activities

In keeping with the Rose State POLS traditional calendar of events, Dr. Emily Stacey has coordinated and will moderate the Fall 2022 Great Debate panel on the COVID-19 Pandemic: Three Years Later. The event will occur on Thursday, October 27 at 11am in the HB Atkinson Theatre. The illustrious panel includes Rose State's own Dr. Rita Mild, Dean of Health Sciences, as well as NPR/StateImpact reporter Catherine Sweeney, AND Dr. Dale Bratzler, former COVID Czar for OU Health who appeared twice weekly on News9 in the morning throughout the height of the pandemic. The final panelist, Ms. Sandra Harrison, is the General Counsel and Legislative Liaison for the OK Hospital Association. These experts will be here to discuss where we have been, where we are presently, and the future of the COVID pandemic, and will be available to take questions after the panel presentation. The panel will be live-streamed via Zoom (link will be provided closer to event date) and recorded for posting after the event concludes for those who cannot attend in-person.
