The Hispanic Student Association and the Diversity Center collaborate to acknowledge and host Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at Rose State College. This is a two-day holiday that reunites the living and the dead. An altar will be set up in the Jeanie Webb Student Union to display ofrendas (Offerings) to honor their departed family members. The altar will be decorated with traditional decor and photos of the departed.
The campus community can participate in this display by submitting photos with a description to Diversity@rose.edu . Photos will be added to the altar.
