Carolyn Martin Celebrates 25 years Teaching Art at the Community Learning Center Published October 14, 2015 by Donna Syth

Surrounded by family, friends and her numerous students Carolyn Martin was presented a proclamation by the mayor of Midwest City, the honorable J.D. Collins, proclaiming October 13^th, 2015 as Carolyn Martin Day!  Tuesday marked the 25^th year Martin began teaching art at Rose State College’s Community Learning Center.  With her many oil paintings surrounding the podium, Ms. Martin thanked everyone and stated, “I have learned so much from my students in these 25 years! And remember this isn’t a retirement party! I am still here!”
