New Cyber Testing Center Open At Rose State Published June 6, 2019

pearson vue testing center @ Rose State CollegeRose State College’s Workforce Development program announced today the opening of a new state-of-the-art cyber security testing center, The PearsonVUE Testing Center located in the Professional Training Center on campus. 

The PearsonVUE Testing Center will allow Rose State students and cyber security personnel to test for various cyber certifications such as the CompTIA Security+, the Comp TIA A+, the CompTIA Network + and do so at a site on campus, creating a wholesome Cyber Security Program at Rose State. 

“It is amazing to see what our students can accomplish through the Cyber Security Program here at Rose State,” Rose State College Vice President of External Affairs Tamara Pratt said. “With the new PearsonVUE Testing Center, Rose State Workforce Development is truly a one-stop shop for all cyber security training and certification needs. Students can elevate their career in a short amount of time and community members needing certification can access test prep and a test site conveniently located at Rose State.” 

The center opened May 13th and scheduled 42 tests to participants within the first three weeks of operation.

The PearsonVUE Testing Center is also open to cyber security professionals at Tinker Air Force Base and the community desiring to take tests for re-certification. Interested individuals should go to trainingatrose.com/testing-center/ for hours of operation and to schedule a test time.  

Rose State College provides one of the top cyber security programs in the United States. The program offers hands-on courses taught by highly trained and experienced professors and features specialties such as Cryptography, Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics, Network Security, Programming/Scripting and more.
