The Journal Record has recognized Rose State College as top-ranked in three categories in the 2022 Reader Rankings. Rose State was named the top winner for Best Paralegal Program in the state and was a finalist in the Best Undergraduate Program and Best Tech Center for Workforce Development categories. Rose State was up against colleges and universities across Oklahoma and was the only community college to receive a top ranking.
“We are committed to offering quality programs that prepare our students for success upon graduating from Rose State,” Rose State President Dr. Jeanie Webb said. “Receiving recognition in three categories reflects our work to provide the best educational experience in Oklahoma.”
Each year, readers vote for top businesses and organizations in various categories, including education, entertainment and general business. Honorees are selected via a nomination and voting process by the readers and subscribers of The Journal Record. The awards were presented to Rose State College at the Reader Ranking Awards Reception on Thursday, June 23.
Rose State offers more than 60 associate degree programs designed for students to easily enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year college or university. The college’s two-year paralegal studies program prepares students for employment as legal assistants or paralegals and offers classes in a FLEX format allowing students the choice to attend classes online or in-person. In addition, Rose State is home of the state’s first Aerospace and Cybersecurity Center of Workforce Excellence.
